How to Play a Mix of Jeopardy and Family Feud

Fun Game Night Party Ideas to fit anybody'south dissimilar skills in the group! Post may contain affiliate links. Our game night party was a blast because it had the perfect mix of games that everyone could bask, a little scrap of Jeopardy, Minute to Win It, and Family Feud.

If you have been following along in our 9 parties in nine weeks challenge (this was party #7), you may have noticed that I like calculation a bit of creativity where always I can. When I was collaborating with my friend over game night party ideas, she noticed the large cardboard circles leftover from our western party and had an epiphany. Why not make the cardboard into a behemothic spinning bicycle for our game party?! Heck yep! Stroke of genius! Okay and so I get a bit excited about little things….

The spinning wheel wasn't actually necessary only it added a fun attribute to the room. The lighted chalkboard was reused from our white elephant bingo political party and my wonderful co-host put together the Jeopardy board.

Game Night Party Ideas

We divided into three groups and each chose their team name. Nosotros kept tally of the names and their scores on a large chalkboard to keep the contest hot. 🙂 Each group took turns spinning the large wheel to encounter which game of the three we would play next and so would send i of their members up to compete in the challenge. If information technology landed on the 'Bonus' spot, the squad that spun had the opportunity to pick i of the games of their choosing.

Jeopardy consisted of four categories: Disney Quotes, Country Capitals, Land Facts, and Nursery Rhymes. We used little doodle boards for the Jeopardy questions and while the 3 contestants were up front pondering the reply, the rest of usa sang the Jeopardy song. For Family Feud, nosotros used a rubber ducky for the contestants to catch to see who had first shot of naming the right respond.

Cookie Face is ane of my favorites to participate in past either doing information technology myself or watching. Each contestant places a cookie on their forehead and whoever can wiggle that cookie into their mouth using only their facial muscles the fastest wins.

We had played this Cookie Face at our family reunion and everyone loved it! The fastest person took at least two minutes but this ane…This was Astonishing! This was a fierce competition among two brothers and the spouse of one of the brothers. She blew them both out of the water! She took 22 seconds! Information technology was Crawly!

Say Ahhh: Each player tries to stack equally many sugar cubes (dice piece of work well too) as possible onto the Popsicle stick they are holding in their mouth.

Funny story nearly this picture is my friend in the eye was crushing the competition (this is her at just xxx seconds) but her squad encouraged her to just hold that and add nothing else. Well… what happened was some other competitor (on the left) kept going until the end and vanquish her by a few cubes.

Decorations

My color scheme for this party was night blue, gold, and silver… Ah and our star decorations… well lets but say I had a lot more than decorations prepared but they involved glitter and since this wasn't my house nosotros opted not to put them upwardly. My husband had warned me this was a bad idea just I idea the glitter would stick ameliorate. Owell… The three-D stars (yous tin find the tutorial here) were a simple addition just I thought they added a dainty affect.

Afterwards we mingled and snacked on yummy goodies. Everyone helped contribute to the refreshments which made my life easier. 🙂

Thanks to the crazy atmospheric condition of freezing rain, ice, and snow we accept been experiencing lately, we cancelled our game night and rescheduled it for the following Fri. Because of this, everyone said they wouldn't exist able to make information technology besides one family. That put me in a bit of a panic, so I invited a few more than families hoping that at least one didn't accept prior plans. Nope, all three said they would come! Then I received a message from my friend maxim that she had a modify of plans and could come up after all and 2 other families confirmed terminal minute. Needless to say we had a full firm! Which was nifty and made for a very fun nighttime!

Yep, there were children present (a LOT more than the 4 shown) but amazingly enough they all played together in another room. Nice proficient party perk, right? Which made for some pretty happy mommies.
